Ballincollig FRC Early Years service is a child-led, community based Early Years service that supports a relationship of openness between staff, parents, guardians and children. There are two E.C.C.E Early Years rooms operating in Ballincollig FRC daily: a morning session from 8.45 to 11.45a.m. and an afternoon session running from 12.15 to 3.15p.m. currently with 66 children onsite.
Children can register from the age of 2 years and 8 months up to 5 years of age.
We follow the national curriculum, which is Aistear, a child-led curriculum built around the Siolta standards. The Ballincollig FRC Early Years ethos promotes learning through doing and developing independence in the transition to primary school. Staff members are highly qualified, adhering to best practice guidelines of a large ratio of staff to children in the rooms.
