Ballincollig Family Resource Centre
FACT Ballincollig Family Resource Centre provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of the community in Ballincollig and surrounding areas.
About Us:
We opened in 2002 and work as part of the National Family Resource Centre programme consisting of 121 independent, limited companies offering community-based Family Support in targeted communities.
We provide a Childcare Service, Family Support, Community Health and Referral Project (Linkwork service) along with the provision of a Therapeutic hub supporting children, teenagers and adults.
The FACT Ballincollig Family Resource Centre model of working is strengths based, providing timely, accessible, evidence-based support to children and families. We support families by the provision of a Family Support Service through the Meitheal Process working collaboratively with our partners in Tusla Child & Family Agency, Pobal, Health Service Executive along with the community and voluntary sector
Key Supports:
- The Early Years Service including Preschool and Activity Club.
- The provision of a Family Support and Counselling service.
- The Community Health and Referral Project (Linkwork service).
- The Maria O’Connell Play and Art Therapy Hub.
- Parent and Toddler groups and Summer Camps.
- Support groups, education and training opportunities.
- We also provide regular information talks/events and social meetings.
